ARTs eLIVE ROOSTER VIDEO SHOWCASE

Keeping Morris eLive

Roosters dancing through Lockdown.

Our contribution this year is a series of videos of members of Rampant Rooster’s performing dances, usually danced by 6 or 8 people, which have been adapted for 1 or 2 dancers (sometimes with the aid of an interesting array of props!)

These videos originally formed part of the Lone Morris Festival organised by Kathy Brickell of Anonymous Morris in Poole who came up with the idea to keep the Morris community in touch and dancing during lockdown.

Morris dancers across the UK and around the world from as far away as New Zealand and America, took part, adapting their own favourite dances and uploading them to the Lone Morris website.

As you can see when you view our offerings, Rampant Roosters threw themselves enthusiastically into the project, putting a lot of time and effort into producing some very entertaining videos – and having a lot of fun in the process.
